Prayer Letter (2004) and Financial Needs Warsaw, November 5, 2004 Thank you for investing in our Scholarship Fund. This is a great help for our ministry here. Our students have been able to be even more involved in God’s work. Those who benefit from your support are more willing to go into full-time ministry in the church. For example, Grzegorz and his wife, who benefited from the Scholarship fund last year, today serve in a small church in Zgorzelec near the German border. Another student, Martin, has been helping the IMB missionaries in their ministry in Czestochowa. This fall the missionaries are leaving and Martin has an invitation to continue his ministry there. This is a small but growing Fellowship, mostly students in the city of the Polish cult of the Black Madonna. In the past we helped also our part-time students with their tuition, and today they are serving in the growing churches. I see that the Scholarship Fund helps us to extend our ministry. Thank you for making it possible. As you may know this year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of WBST. It is not much, but in our 100 years of Baptist Seminary education in Poland, it is the first 10 years without any interruptions of war or the communist system. I believe that we should go further in our development which will lead us closer to our vision to be the best evangelical school (Baptist Seminary) serving all believers in our country. Please keep us in your prayers as we give thanks for you vision of world mission. In the coming season of Thanksgiving and Christmas I wish you all the best and God’s peace be with you. Yours in Christ, |
